Welcome to La Mode Historique! We're a club entirely dedicated to historical fashions through the ages- from ancient times up through the 1940s. Though we tend to focus mostly on Western European fashions, our interest also extends to regional and traditional clothing, as well as the costumes of other cultures (such as Eastern, Chinese, and Japanese clothing). Our goal here is mainly to have fun, but we're also hoping to provide useful information about historical fashions for those who are interested in the subject. We also love to learn about fashion, so if you know something that we don't, feel free to share. If you love history and you love fashion, then you've come to the right place.
